Dr. Kevin Sclater, MD, CCFP(PC)
Dr. Kevin Sclater, MD, CCFP(PC) is a family doctor with specialist certification in palliative care. He studied sciences at UBC, then graduated from medical school at the University of Calgary in 1990. Dr. Sclater has worked as a palliative care physician for more than 25 years. He is certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada with an added competency in palliative care and was granted certification by the American Board of Hospice & Palliative Medicine. He has provided palliative care services in both hospital and community settings and has recently joined Integrated Health Clinic providing a palliative approach.
Dr. Sarah Denotter, ND, MSc
Dr. Sarah Denotter, ND, MSc is a naturopathic doctor currently completing her residency in naturopathic oncology with Dr. Gurdev Parmar at the Integrated Health Clinic in British Columbia, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Science at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, attended naturopathic medical school at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR and concurrently received her Masters of Science in Nutrition. Dr. Denotter is a professional member of the BCND, CAND and OncANP.
Dr. Shauna M. Birdsall, ND, FABNO
Dr. Shauna M. Birdsall, ND, FABNO completed a residency at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in Illinois in 2002. She transferred to CTCA in Goodyear, AZ, as Director of Naturopathic Medicine in 2008. Dr. Birdsall was elected as Vice Chief of the CTCA Phoenix Medical Staff in 2011 and served in that role until 2018. In 2019 she relocated to Alaska where she has joined the Avante Medical Center, Advanced Oncology Associates at Providence Cancer Center, and the Peninsula Radiation Oncology Center. Dr. Birdsall has co-published multiple articles, research abstracts, and posters at national conferences.
Dr. Timothy C. Birdsall, ND, FABNO
Dr. Timothy C. Birdsall, ND, FABNO is a well-known lecturer and practitioner of naturopathic oncology. He currently serves as chair of the board of medical examiners of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology. Dr. Birdsall was the founding editor-in-chief of the journal Alternative Medicine Review, and in 2007, was appointed to serve on the National Advisory Council for Complementary and Alternative Medicine of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has been an author on over 25 abstracts accepted or presented at major medical meetings, including the American Society for Clinical Oncology, the Society for Integrative Oncology, the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, the AANP and the OncANP.
Dr. Cynthia Bye, ND, FABNO
Dr. Cynthia Bye, ND, FABNO practices in Vancouver, Washington. She received her undergraduate degree in pre-med from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and her doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where she completed her thesis on Breast cancer. She completed a residency at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa Oklahoma. Dr. Bye on the advisory board for the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of SW Washington and Oregon. She has also been given the President’s Award for her contribution to the Naturopathic Oncology profession by the Oncology association of Naturopathic physician in February of 2018.

Dr. Joseph W. McCollom, DO
Dr. Joseph W. McCollom, DO obtained his osteopathic degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Medical Oncology. His passion is integrating the compassionate care of supportive oncology to the competent innovation of disease directed oncology. Dr. McCollom has been able to present at the national and state level as well as several award-winning research presentations locally for integration of supportive care into oncology practice. His program achieved an international designation from ESMO as an integrated palliative care in oncology centre, one of six centers in the United States.
Dr. Patrick Richard, MD
Dr. Patrick Richard, MD is a board-certified radiation oncologist practicing in Boulder, CO. He attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine where he concurrently received a master’s in public health. He completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington and is currently a practicing radiation oncologist treating the full spectrum of solid malignancies in Boulder, Colorado. He has a special interest in integrative oncology approaches and was accepted to the University of Michigan’s Integrative Oncology Scholars program in August 2020.

Dr. Sarah Soles, ND, MSc, FABNO
Dr. Sarah Soles, ND, MSc, FABNO completed her naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and a 2-year naturopathic oncology residency at the Integrated Health Clinic in British Columbia. There she continues to help patients in all stages of their cancer trajectory, from screening and prevention to active treatment or maintaining a remission. Dr. Soles is the Research Director for the Knowledge in Naturopathic Oncology Website (KNOW) and a contributing author to the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology: A Desktop Guide to Integrative Cancer Care.
Dr. Michael Traub, ND, DHANP, FABNO
Dr. Michael Traub, ND, DHANP, FABNO has practiced in Hawaii for 35 years. He is a Past-President of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and was awarded the AANP’s Naturopathic Physician of the Year award in 2006. Dr. Traub was appointed hospital staff of the North Hawaii Community Hospital (NHCH), where he served as chairman of the Integrated Healing Committee from the opening of the hospital in 1996 until 2001, succeeding in gaining approval for the natural medicine formulary in the hospital. He is author of the book “Essentials of Dermatological Diagnosis and Integrative Therapeutics,” and has contributed chapters to several textbooks including Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology and Textbook of Natural Medicine.
Dr. Dimas Yusuf, MD
Dr. Dimas Yusuf, MD is a medical oncologist with certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and American Board of Internal Medicine. His clinical interests include solid tumors, chronic leukemias, lymphomas, plasma cell dyscrasias and cancer care delivered in a multidisciplinary and integrative manner to achieve the best patient outcomes. His practice covers Vancouver, British Columbia, and the surrounding area.
